About

Interior Designer Rachel Deeks has spent much of her career studying and working abroad to gain extensive international design experience. Her education laid the foundation for her success: she attended Appleby College, studied in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, earned her degree at Queen’s University, completed an Interior Design Degree at Parsons School of Design in New York City, and pursued further textile courses at Central Saint Martins in London.

Rachel’s design aesthetic and portfolio reflect this global background. As a Senior Designer at one of London’s top studios, Katharine Pooley Ltd., she spent five years working on prestigious residential projects in London, Tuscany, Dubai, and Qatar.

In 2013, Rachel returned to Canada with her husband and founded Rachel Deeks Design. Her studio combines international sourcing of the finest furnishings with a trusted network of skilled Toronto suppliers. Her Canadian portfolio includes private homes, corporate offices, condominiums, and summer residences, while internationally she continues to design properties in New York City and Florida.

Through her experience, Rachel guides clients seamlessly through every stage of the design process—from initial concept and drawings to comprehensive budget breakdowns and final installation—all with an unwavering commitment to quality and detail.
